This is the third time I’ve had the privilege of photographing my sweet friend’s family. This time, Jen’s mom, Laura was in town and Jen wanted her to have some pictures as a Mother’s day gift. I adore Laura. I grew up with Jen, and became very close to Laura over the years. When Jen would be spending hours in her room getting ready, (well it felt like hours), Laura and I would have the best chats at her kitchen table. She was like a second Mom to me and I love her so much. Click here and here to see the two previous photo shoots we’ve done together.

After months of emailing about the shoot, I was so happy to finally meet Hanna and her beautiful family. It was such a perfect morning to capture them. We had fun walking around the trails and exploring the park where we met. I’m so thankful to live in California where I can shoot outdoors. Their littlest one is turning 1 year old, so we focused on getting some really sweet shots of her for her upcoming birthday.
I love this series of the birthday girl! Happy 1st little one.

Jeanie and Edward were such a joy to photograph, along with their two beautiful daughters. The balloons and sunflowers were so fun to incorporate into our shoot. It took awhile for the little one to warm up, but once she did I couldn’t get enough. Their oldest daughter was so sweet and gave me the absolute best smiles. Enjoy this beautiful family!

Nancy and James are part of our home Bible study group through church. We’ve gotten to know them and their beautiful 17 month old daughter over the past 8 months. We were so excited to find out that they were having a boy. After the baby was born I couldn’t wait to get over there to take some photos. We had to cancel two times because my little ones kept getting sick and we wanted to keep this little guy healthy. He’s now a month old and so alert. We had a great time today capturing all these fun images around the house.
